Specialized features, patented technology, precision engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing make the new EXP2 Stem Trap an unbeatable choice for ultra high-pressure trapping applications. Its slim architecture allows it to easily fit into crowded instrument compartments or to connect directly to tightly-spaced injection ports. When tightened by hand, the EXP2 Stem Trap seals to 8,700+ psi. Additionally, the product can be wrench tightened to 20,000+ psi (1,400+ bar). The unique packed floating stem installs directly into any 10-32 port and automatically adjusts to provide a perfect ZDV connection. The new EXP2 design incorporates an integral ferrule into the front-end of the holder so there is no separate ferrule to lose! The replacement stems are also low volume/ low-dispersion, intended for many repeat uses and is available with various bed volume and custom packing options. Proteomix HIC columns are specially designed for high resolution and high efficiency separations of proteins, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), oligonucleotides and peptides via a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) mechanism. Utilizing proprietary surface technologies, Proteomix HIC-NP resin is made of non-porous polystyrenedivinylbenzene (PS/DVB) beads with narrow-dispersed particle size distribution. As shown in figure below, the PS/DVB bead is modified with alkyl groups or aryl groups that provide hydrophobic interaction with analytes. Proteomix HIC-NP resin is highly rigid and mechanically stable. In comparison to silica-based HIC phase media, Proteomix HIC-NP phases have advantages for biomolecule separations with a wide pH range (2-12) and high chemical stability.

The EXP™2 Stem Filter features a choice of frit porosities integrated with our patented auto-adjusting stem for repeated ZDV connections with any 10-32 port. The slim architecture allows the product to easily fit into crowded instrument compartments, tightly-spaced injection ports and anywhere else an extra level of protection against clogging and contamination is necessary. The EXP™2 Stem Filter is an ideal solution to protect expensive UHPLC columns, injectors, autosamplers and MS electrospray tips without extra-column effects. When tightened by hand, the stem filter seals to 8,700+ psi. The reusable holder hardware also incorporates wrench flats to enable flawless sealing to 20,000+ psi (1,400+ bar). This product also incorporates the Optimize integral ferrule design so that the ferrule is fixed into the front end of the holder preventing frustration and wasted time searching for tiny lost ferrules.
